This Privacy Policy explains how Rovena Auto – Smart Car Companion ("Rovena Auto", "the App", "we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use the App.

1. Information you provide

Rovena Auto allows you to enter and manage information about your vehicles, including vehicle details, mileage, maintenance records, fuel entries, expenses, documents, notes, reminder dates, and optional attachments such as images or PDF files.

This information is entered voluntarily by you and is intended to help you organize and manage your vehicle records.

2. How your data is stored

Rovena Auto is designed as a local-first application. Your vehicle records are stored locally on your device unless you explicitly choose to export, share, back up, or restore data using features provided by the App.

We do not operate a Rovena Auto cloud account service and the App does not require you to create an account or sign in.

3. Data collection by the developer

The current version of Rovena Auto does not transmit your vehicle records, maintenance history, expenses, fuel records, documents, notes, or attachments to the developer.

The current version also does not use developer-operated analytics or tracking services.

4. Permissions and device access

• Notifications: The App may request notification permission so it can send maintenance, document, vehicle-care, or engagement reminders. You can deny or disable notifications in Android settings.
• Files and attachments: When you choose to attach, open, export, share, back up, or restore a file, Android's system file picker or sharing mechanisms may be used. Rovena Auto accesses only the file(s) you choose through those system controls.

5. Backups, exports, PDFs, and sharing

The App may let you create local backups, JSON exports, vehicle PDF reports, or share selected information. These actions occur only when you initiate them. Once you export or share a file with another app, service, person, or storage location, that destination's privacy practices apply.

6. Documents and sensitive information

You should avoid storing unnecessary sensitive personal information in vehicle notes, attachments, or documents. If you choose to store such information, it remains under your control on your device unless you intentionally export or share it.

7. Data retention and deletion

Your locally stored data remains on your device until you delete individual records, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App. Exported or shared copies are outside Rovena Auto's control and must be deleted from their destination separately.

8. Children

Rovena Auto is a general vehicle-management utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-operated service.

9. Third-party services

The current version of the App does not rely on developer-operated online accounts or cloud storage for your vehicle records. If future versions introduce advertising, analytics, cloud synchronization, crash reporting, or other third-party online services, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or when those services are introduced.

10. Security

We aim to minimize privacy risk by keeping core vehicle records on-device. However, no device or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and any backups or exported files you create.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Rovena Auto's features, permissions, or data practices change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
